Registration

Each child must register with us for photo day. This gives us permission to photograph your child individually on photo day. Please ensure this is done THREE DAYS PRIOR to photo day. This ensures your childs name is captured on the Photo Shoot List for the day of the booked photography session.

When you register with us, you can choose to give us consent to share your childs images on our website and socials.

If you would prefer we didn’t share your childs images, please ensure you tick the box on the registration form.

We don’t share images of your child with anyone, without your consent.

Upon registration please mention if you would like sibling photos done, and also mention any special requests for photo day (ie must wear red jacket provided).

We will provide each Centre with a poster, which has a link to our registration page.

Photo Day/s

We want Photo Day to be fun, and to be filled with kindness and patience. Working with young children requires a gentle approach. We treat every child with care, respect, and patience—always putting their comfort first. We've designed Photo Day to be easy and stress free, especially for Centre staff.

We take care of Photo Day once all parents/guardians have registered with us.

From registration, to Photo Day, to ordering, and any questions in between.

If Centre Directors need us to advise parents/guardians of their designated date and time, we can certainly do this too. Depending on the size of your Centre, will depend on how many days we offer photography sessions. Our goal is not to disrupt the Centre too much, so we don’t need to show up every single day.

We will work in collaboration with each Centre.

How does Photo Day work?

Two people will attend your Centre, one photographer and one assistant.

We will take 15–20 images of each, with a variety of images taken in front of a back drop and some taken in the actual child care centre environment. For babies, fewer photos will be taken.

Sick Child on Photo Day. Can I organise another photo day?

If your child is sick on their designated photo day, please get in touch with us, and we can organise their photo to be taken on another day during photo week. Unfortunately we don’t always have the time to come back during another week, but we don’t like seeing people miss out. What To Wear?

Keep it simple, neat, clean, well fitting clothes, smart casual always looks great. An outfit your child will feel comfortable in.

We only have enough time to take photos of your child in one outfit, so unfortunately multiple outfit changes are not possible.

Do you photograph siblings?

We sure do! Absolutely!

If they are at the same centre, we encourage sibling group photos. When you register, make sure you register each child, and make a note that you would like to have sibling photos and mention both children’s names.

After Photo Day

Viewing Photos

This ordering process period will last for 2 (two) weeks, from the time the online images went live. After the period has finished, we will place all the orders for that centre with our print lab.

We will let you know by email / SMS when the photos are available for viewing, at which point the ordering process begins.

If anyone places an order outside of this period, a fee will apply of $15 per order. To streamline our process, we do one bulk order for each centre with our print lab.

Sibling Photo Packages

Sibling photo packages are recognised as a different package, they can’t be combined with individual photos. We have taken the time and effort to photograph children separately, and then do a photoshoot with the children together, and then edit/prepare images. However, if the youngest child is a baby (aged one and under), we can certainly combine the sibling package with the youngest child.

When will I receive the digitals, physical prints or products that I’ve ordered?

These will be available within 15 business days from the last day of ordering.

We will deliver them in one bulk delivery to your Centre, and we’ll let each parent/guardian know by email/SMS when their delivery is at the Centre ready for pick up.

Digital images

If you have ordered digital images, once you have paid for your order, you will be notified when these are available for download (watermark free). Make sure you download these within two weeks. Once you’ve received notification to download your Digital images, these will only be available for a maximum of 60 days in your online gallery.

Any future requests for copies of images which weren’t downloaded within the 60 days time frame, will incur an administrative archival retrieval fee, as these images then need to be pulled from our archives.

Additional Editing

Images are colour corrected, we may remove vegemite etc on their face using Photoshop, but other than that, no photoshop editing is done.If you would like additional editing done to your child's image, please send an email outlining what you would like removed or edited within the image.

We do charge $30 per image for this service. Additional editing may be removing scratches or bruises, etc.

Privacy

Our privacy is important to us, we only post your child's photos to our website and social media with your consent. On registering to have your child's photo taken for Photo Day, each parent/guardian will have the option to keep their child's photos private. Our Privacy Policy can be found here.

Referrals

Word of mouth referrals help our small family business. For any parents who refer us for work at their centre (and we get the photography job) will receive a $50 credit toward your child's photos.

We can only apply this offer to one referral recommendation per centre.
